Job Summary

Join Masa Ishibashi as a part-time server and chef assistant, supporting welcoming guest service and smooth kitchen operations. This hands-on role combines serving guests with food preparation and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, take orders, serve food, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit.
- Use POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders and payments, handle cash, and complete basic calculations accurately.
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks, following food-handling and food-safety practices.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in service and kitchen areas, coordinate with teammates, and suggest suitable menu items when helpful.

Skills

Required: Time management, customer service, serving, food preparation, food handling, food safety, sanitation, basic math, and cash handling support the daily duties. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, or kitchen experience; familiarity with POS or Micros POS, cashiering, guest services, hospitality, math, and upselling can help you contribute confidently.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
