We are currently looking for a part-time Payroll and Bookkeeping Assistant. The successful candidate will have great attention to detail, be self-motivated, take initiative when required, and be able to work well with other staff and on their own.

The main responsibilities of this job is to prepare, input and process weekly payroll through the Quickbooks Desktop payroll system. Additional responsibilities include reconciliation, entering expenses, HR administration, and assisting the Controller as needed.

You will provide bookkeeping support for our Controller. You must have Intuit QuickBooks DESKTOP version or similar software experience. Experience with Payroll processing and principles, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and reconciliation are a must. A knowledge of general accounting principles would be an asset.

Hours are somewhat flexible, however,



successful candidate MUST be available between 9 am and 4 pm on Mondays (or Tuesdays following a long weekend), and over the month end. This position may suit a part-time accounting student, or a parent with children in school during the day.

You must have excellent written and oral English communication skills. A second language would be beneficial, but not required.

Dress code is business casual.
