We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of the pharmacy by assisting with prescription processing, patient communication, medication preparation, inventory management, and coordination of medication deliveries.

This role is ideal for someone who is patient-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting pharmacists and pharmacy staff while ensuring efficient workflow and excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with daily pharmacy operations.
- Support prescription intake, data entry, and processing using pharmacy software.
- Assist with preparing prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
- Maintain accurate patient profiles and pharmacy records.
- Coordinate and schedule medication deliveries when required.
- Communicate with patients regarding prescription status, refills, and delivery arrangements.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and stocking medications and supplies.
- Monitor medication stock levels and report low inventory or shortages.
- Respond to patient inquiries in a professional, friendly, and compassionate manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.




- Ensure patient confidentiality and follow pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is an asset.
- Familiarity with Kroll pharmacy software is an asset.
- Pharmacy Assistant certification or relevant training is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valuable computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented.
- Ability to handle confidential patient information with professionalism.

Pay: $17.60-$23.00 per hour
