Mikkelsen-Coward is looking for a Commercial / Industrial Plumber or Pipefitter to add to our growing team of dedicated professionals providing creative and innovative HVAC solutions to our customers. If you are a motivated individual with extensive knowledge in Hydronic / Steam systems and piping for large gas-fired equipment, Mikkelsen-Coward is looking for you to join our team. We will provide you with everything you need from tools, training, support and no shortage of work.

Plumber / Fitter Technician

We are looking for someone with the following skills and assets:

- Red Seal Plumber/Gasfitter or Pipefitter.
- Strong experience in maintaining, servicing, and adjusting boiler systems.
- Keeping detailed service and repair logs and maintaining strong communication with customers.
- Performing Preventative Maintenance Checks on boilers and associated plumbing systems.
- Completing new boiler installations and replacements.
- Acting as Site Foreman for large and small boiler installation projects.
- Extensive background in gas-fired equipment, hot water systems,



and high- and low-pressure steam systems.
- “A” Gasfitter ticket preferred; minimum “B” ticket with recorded hours under a registered “A” Gasfitter. Remove this. Don’t want to limit applicants but Level 5 and higher is required.
- Proven troubleshooting, service, and installation experience on boiler and piping systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical and control systems for heating equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to identify potential opportunities with non-contract and contract customers.
- Solid time management and project planning abilities.
- Experience servicing, maintaining and installation of commercial/industrial boiler and plumbing systems.

Compensation would follow standard Union Rates with an additional Incentive Program.
