About Us

Popeyes serves bold Louisiana-style chicken made fresh every day. We're hiring hard-working Cooks to join our kitchen team. No experience? No problem. We'll train you.

Responsibilities

- Marinate, bread, fry and package chicken and menu items following Popeyes recipes and standards
- Run the fryers and keep up with order volume during rushes
- Check food quality, hold times and temperatures so everything is fresh and safe
- Follow food safety, handling and sanitation procedures at all times
- Prep ingredients and sides before and during shifts
- Keep your station, fryers, equipment and kitchen clean
- Unload deliveries and stock the walk-in, freezer and dry storage
- Wash dishes and complete opening/closing duties
- Communicate with front counter staff to keep orders accurate and on time




- Help out at other stations when needed

Requirements
- No experience needed, we'll train you (kitchen or fast food experience is an asset)
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset
- Able to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen
- Able to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and food safety
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Available evenings, weekends and/or holidays
- Reliable and punctual
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
