Working closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams, the role ensures the reliable and efficient operation of forging and pressing equipment across two shifts. This position is key to driving continuous improvement in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), standardizing procedures, and maintaining a safe, high-performance work environment.

The Technician plays a hands-on role in troubleshooting, equipment optimization, and supporting the implementation of best practices across the forge.About You

Experience

Education: Technical training in a related field preferred (e.G. Mechanical or Industrial focus an asset)Experience: Minimum 5 years in press and/or forging industry, including hands-on experience with equipment operation and troubleshootingKnowledge

Forging and pressing processes and equipment functionalityMechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsPreventative maintenance planning and executionOccupational Health and Safety Act and related workplace safety regulationsVendor management and coordination practicesSkills
