- Tooling & Mold Maintenance: Develop specifications for tooling, master patterns, and mold designs, implement asset tracking systems, and establish routine maintenance protocols for all production tooling.
- Shop Floor & Flow Optimization: Optimize manufacturing flow across shop floor operations, material dispensing, curing, demolding, and packaging lines for repeatability, ergonomics, and throughput.
- Equipment Integration & R&D; Support: Identify and specify equipment upgrades, present business proposals, lead line integration, and support cross-functional R&D; initiatives to bring new offerings from concept to full-scale production.
- Standardization & SOPs: Turn shop-floor discoveries into clear, repeatable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and establish tracking and maintenance protocols for all production tooling.
What We're Looking For
- 3D Design & Rapid Prototyping: Proficiency in converting sketches to 3D CAD models and hands-on experience utilizing additive manufacturing for master patterns, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
- Fluid Dynamics & Polymer Processing: Strong understanding of viscosity, degassing, and mixing dynamics across platinum-cured silicones and cast elastomers, with hands-on meter-mix dispensing experience.
- Process Optimization & Quality Compliance: Expertise in root-cause defect analysis, line balancing, continuous improvement, capacity planning,
and ensuring adherence to operational and safety standards.
- Technical Documentation & SOPs: Ability to translate technical insights into standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and train personnel on repeatable manufacturing processes.
- Background & Experience: 2–5+ years in hands-on manufacturing, casting, or dispensing operations, backed by a diploma in Engineering Technology, a relevant technical degree, or equivalent practical shop-floor experience.
