6-Month Contract with Possibility of Extension

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate purchasing and replenishment of packaging materials, including cartons, labels, bags, films, trays, and other supplies.
- Monitor packaging inventory levels, track usage, and proactively identify shortages or excess stock.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, confirm delivery timelines, and resolve supply issues.
- Coordinate packaging requirements with production schedules, customer orders, and operational needs.
- Maintain accurate packaging specifications, including dimensions, materials, labels, artwork, barcodes, and customer-specific requirements.
- Ensure packaging materials meet customer specifications and applicable quality and food safety standards.
- Coordinate packaging changes and communicate updates to purchasing, production, warehouse, and quality teams.
- Track purchase orders, supplier deliveries, inventory movements, and packaging costs.
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, inventory accuracy, cost efficiency, and packaging utilization.

Qualifications & Experience





- 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory coordination, packaging, or production planning.
- Experience in fresh produce, food processing, or food distribution is preferred.
- Knowledge of packaging materials, supplier coordination, and inventory management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management or ERP systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

What We're Looking For A proactive, hands-on individual who takes ownership of packaging requirements, maintains robust supplier relationships, monitors inventory closely, and ensures production teams have the right packaging materials available when needed.
