Job Overview

As an RECE, you support children’s learning, development, and participation in a welcoming classroom. You use childcare and early childhood education practices to create engaging experiences, adapt support for individual needs, and communicate with children, families, and colleagues. This role brings together teaching, classroom organization, and attentive care.

Duties

- Plan and lead age-appropriate learning activities, drawing on teaching and early childhood education practices.
- Provide attentive childcare and adapt activities and support for children with disabilities and diverse learning needs.
- Communicate with children, families, and colleagues in English and French, sharing explicit updates and observations.
- Maintain organized classroom records and materials, using computer operation and writing skills to support daily coordination.

Qualifications

Required: Clear communication, time management, organizational skills, and basic computer skills support safe, well-coordinated classroom routines and accurate written records. Preferred: Bilingual English-French ability, leadership, and experience in childcare, special education, teaching, early childhood education, or classroom settings are valuable; experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is especially relevant.

Pay: From $25.86 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 8.0 per week
