About Us

Taiso Gymnastics is home to artistic gymnastics at every level. We run recreation programs for boys and girls, beginner to advanced, aged 2 to adult. We are proud to be the only club in Saskatoon with both men’s and women’s competitive programs.

Role Mission

As our Full-Time Recreation Program Coordinator, you will help deliver a fun, safe and structured recreation program. This will include administrative tasks, mentoring our recreation coaches and work closely with the Executive Director, Head Coach and Board of Directors.

You are an enthusiastic, energetic person who loves helping athletes grow. You are a team player who wants to make a difference for our athletes and our club. You are organized, you communicate clearly, you are creative and you are able to mentor other coaches.

Responsibilities & Expectations

· Available evenings and weekends

· Handle recreation program administration and other administrative duties as assigned

· Work with the Executive Director on recreation program recruitment, registration and development

· Carry out duties set by the Head Coach, Executive Director and Board of Directors

· Develop, supervise and mentor recreation coaches

· Coach recreation classes,



including subbing as needed

· Assist at club events and fundraisers as needed

Experience & Skills

· Strong administrative skills and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite

· Strong organization and communication skills

· 3 to 5 years of coaching experience

· Gymnastics Foundations certification. Trained status will be accepted if you certify within 12 months.

· Respect in Sport

· First Aid and CPR C, or willingness to obtain

· Current Criminal Record Check
