We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Care Aid to provide in-home care services in Surrey, BC. This role will begin as part-time with the opportunity to transition into full-time hours based on performance and client needs.
The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality care that supports clients in remaining safe and comfortable in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Support mobility and safe transfers
- Provide medication reminder
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Second language preffered
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Health Care Aid in British Columbia
- Registered and in good standing with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (required)
- Previous home care experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude
Schedule
- Part time to start
- Opportunity for full-time hours
- Some weekend availability may be required
Compensation
- $27.00 per hour
