Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) – Job Opportunity

Temporary Position – Initial 3-Month Contract (Potential for Permanent Employment)

We are looking for a motivated, caring, and dedicated individual to join our team!

The successful candidate will work with children ranging from toddlers to preschool age, supporting our classroom educators in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning setting.

Working alongside a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE), the RECE or ECA will help create meaningful learning experiences through play, build positive relationships with children and families, and support the daily activities of the classroom.

Employment Terms: The position begins with an initial 3-month employment contract, with the possibility of permanent employment based on the Centre's needs and the employee's performance.

The successful candidate must follow the requirements of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), the Centre's Assessment for Quality Improvement (AQI) standards,



and all centre policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in a licensed childcare, daycare, or educational setting.
- Passion for working with children and supporting play-based learning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Required Documents & Certifications

Successful candidates must provide

- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- A satisfactory Police Record Check, completed within the last 6 months.
- Up-to-date immunization records.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
