Summary At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate transactions and maximize value in their business deals. As a Valuations Financial Instruments, Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high-quality client service and operational efficiency.Provide valuation of financial instruments such as debentures with embedded derivatives, options, structure products, contingent considerations, management equity plans, commodity contracts, private credits, venture capitals.Manage multiple client engagements concurrently, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work products in accordance with agreed-upon timelines.Conduct in-depth market research on valuation methodologies, industry trends, and technical topics to support analysis and client deliverables.Contribute to pursuit teams and proposal development including innovative Lead Valuations teams, coaching and supporting team development and sharing technical knowledge across the national and global PwC network.Completed Master of Mathematical Finance (or equivalent) and a strong academic background in a quantitative or finance discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Financial Engineering, or other relevant postgraduate degrees).Successful completion of CFA, FRM, or PRM designation is an asset.Experience in valuations, leveraged finance, banking, risk management.Have an in-depth understanding of mathematical models used for pricing securities, deep knowledge of private investments and capital markets.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Robust analytical and project management skills,



an ability to analyze business situations and a professional and personable demeanor to interact with clients and work effectively in teams.Experience leading and supervising diverse teams to create an atmosphere of trust, seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.Experiences in common programming languages (e.Python/R/Visual Basic/SQL) will be an asset.The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centers.
