Job Summary
GreenTee Richmond Golf Centre is a premium indoor golf and lifestyle destination in Richmond, BC, featuring exclusive membership services, VIP private suites, and upscale dining experiences.
Our facility is home to Crystal Jade Palace, a premium Chinese dining concept under the internationally recognized Crystal Jade Group.
We are currently seeking professional, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Bartenders to join our opening Food & Beverage team.
The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, strong beverage knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
Previous bartending experience is preferred. Experience in hotels, Western-style restaurants, upscale dining, or fine dining is an asset, but not required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks.
- Follow established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent beverage quality.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests.
- Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and other beverages, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
- Monitor beverage inventory, replenish supplies, and assist with stock control.
- Complete daily bar opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of beverage products.
- Process guest orders and payments accurately when required.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff,
and management to ensure smooth service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Handle guest requests and concerns professionally and efficiently.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous bartending or beverage service experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service.
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- English proficiency is required. Must be able to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally with guests in English.
- Chinese language skills are an asset, but not required.
- Experience in hotels, Western-style restaurants, upscale dining, or fine dining is an asset.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must meet the legal age requirements for serving alcohol in British Columbia.
- Valid Serving It Right certification is required for this position.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
