Roofing Estimator / Project Coordinator

TD Roofing Inc. | Mississauga, Ontario | Office-based

TD Roofing Inc. is looking for an organized, knowledgeable person to estimate roofing projects and coordinate work from our office. The right candidate can read construction drawings, understands roofing systems, and prepares accurate project pricing.

Responsibilities

- Review drawings, specifications, tender documents and project requirements
- Complete roofing measurements and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare estimates for materials, labour, equipment and subcontracted work
- Request and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Prepare detailed quotes, scopes of work and tender submissions
- Communicate with clients, consultants, suppliers and site teams
- Track bids, follow up on quotations and price extra work
- Assist with project schedules, material orders, shop drawings and project documentation

Qualifications





- Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Experience estimating roofing or construction projects
- Knowledge of flat roofing systems, insulation, waterproofing and metal flashings
- Solid attention to detail, organization and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and email
- Experience with digital takeoff or estimating software is an asset
- Able to manage several projects and meet deadlines

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
