Gigg Express Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Safety & Compliance Coordinator to support safety and regulatory compliance, fleet fuel card management, fuel efficiency monitoring and toll account administration.

The successful candidate will work closely with Safety, Dispatch, Maintenance and Accounting teams to maintain compliance records, monitor fleet operating costs, investigate discrepancies and prepare management reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain driver qualification files, licences, certifications and expiry records.
- Maintain tractor and trailer documentation, including registrations, insurance and inspection records.
- Review driver logs, hours-of-service records and related discrepancies.
- Assist with accident reports, claims, driver violations and safety training coordination.
- Administer fuel cards, including issuance, assignments, replacements, suspensions and cancellations.
- Monitor fuel purchases, card limits, unauthorized transactions, duplicate charges and unusual fueling patterns.
- Reconcile fuel card statements, investigate discrepancies and coordinate with fuel providers.
- Review truck-wise fuel consumption, miles per gallon (MPG), fuel cost per mile and fuel efficiency trends.
- Monitor truck idling hours and percentages, identify excessive idling and report recurring exceptions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly fuel usage, efficiency and exception reports.
- Maintain toll accounts, transponders and vehicle assignments.
- Review toll transactions for duplicate charges, incorrect classifications,



unauthorized usage and penalties.
- Reconcile toll statements and investigate discrepancies against available trip and vehicle records.
- Coordinate toll disputes, adjustments and refunds with service providers.Perform other administrative duties when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in trucking, transportation, fleet administration or safety and compliance.
- Knowledge of fleet operations, driver documentation and basic transportation compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Solid attention to detail and ability to investigate transaction discrepancies.
- Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with drivers, vendors and internal departments.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of truck fuel consumption, MPG analysis, idling monitoring and fuel cost reporting.
- Familiarity with fleet management software, GPS, telematics, ELD or transportation management systems.
