This Toronto-based role is currently remote.As a Program Manager, you will create durable operating systems for User Safety & Risk Operations. The work spans policy, technical, legal, and operational constraints, requiring structured execution across complex programs.

Priorities may include Frontier Risk, wellbeing, national security, violent activities, or Trusted Access.Key Responsibilities:

and operating reviewsStand up programs and transition durable ownership to teamsIdentify automation opportunities while preserving human judgmentCoordinate Product, Engineering, Legal, Safety, and operations partnersRequirements:

8+ years in program management, strategy, or risk operationsExperience taking complex work through launch and scaled operationStrong organization, judgment, and execution focusComfort reasoning about dashboards, tooling gaps, and failure modesAbility to handle sensitive, high-severity work calmlyUse operational design, safety judgment, and automation insight to strengthen OpenAI’s critical harm programs and operating systems.
