Furniture & Small Items Liquidation Centre

We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team at our Furniture & Small Items Liquidation Centre. This position is a combination of customer sales, merchandise processing, inventory management, and showroom organization.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys staying busy, and can confidently switch between helping customers and preparing new merchandise for the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Assist customers with furniture, home goods, and smaller liquidation items.
- Answer product questions and help customers find what they are looking for.
- Explain product features, pricing, and promotions.
- Process customer purchases and assist with sales transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.

Merchandise Processing & Inventory

- Receive and sort through new incoming merchandise.
- Inspect, organize, and categorize items before they are put out for sale.
- Determine and assign pricing to merchandise.
- Enter new products and pricing into the computer inventory system.
- Create and print product tags and price labels using a computer.




- Organize and stock merchandise on shelves and throughout the showroom.
- Maintain organized displays and ensure products are properly presented for sale.
- Monitor inventory and keep merchandise organized and accessible.

What We're Looking For

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers and learning inventory software.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and printing labels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable working with customers.
- Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work in a physically active environment, including standing, lifting, sorting, and stocking merchandise.
- Previous retail, sales, inventory, or merchandising experience is an asset but not required.
