Role: SAP Group Reporting Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Group Reporting Consultant to provide post-go-live Application Management Services (AMS) support for a public-sector setting. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, financial consolidation, production support, and month-end/year-end close processes.

The consultant will be responsible for troubleshooting production issues, resolving incidents and service requests, performing root-cause analysis, supporting configuration changes, and coordinating testing and deployment of fixes and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide ongoing post-go-live AMS and production support for SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Group Reporting, consolidation, and financial close issues.
- Manage production incidents, service requests, and problem resolution, including root-cause analysis.
- Provide functional and configuration support for SAP Group Reporting.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities and address time-sensitive issues impacting financial consolidation.
- Assist with areas such as consolidation units/groups, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, validations, and financial reporting, where applicable.
- Coordinate testing, regression testing, and deployment of production fixes and enhancements.
- Work closely with Finance, business stakeholders, SAP functional teams,



and technical teams to resolve issues.
- Create and maintain support documentation, configuration documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Identify opportunities for continuous service improvement and increased stability of the SAP Group Reporting environment.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation and group reporting processes.
- Experience in AMS, post-go-live support, or SAP production support environments.
- Experience resolving incidents and service requests and performing root-cause analysis (RCA).
- Hands-on experience supporting month-end and year-end financial close.
- Experience with SAP Group Reporting configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with functional testing, regression testing, and production deployments.
- Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes related to consolidation and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across Finance, business, functional, and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience supporting a public-sector organization.
- Experience with SAP BPC or other financial consolidation solutions.
- Broader SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
- Experience working with ServiceNow or similar incident/ticket-management tools.
- Experience supporting large-scale or complex SAP environments.
