The Daily Catch Seafood Company is looking for a reliable, friendly, hard-working team member to join our seafood market.
This is a customer-facing retail role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great service, and isn’t afraid of fast-paced, hands-on work.
Schedule
- 3 days per week (occasionally 4)
- Weekend availability is required
- Schedule may vary based on business needs
Pay $19–$22 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Assist customers with seafood selections and product questions
- Process transactions and operate POS
- Help stock, merchandise, and maintain displays
- Basic product prep / packaging
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Support daily opening / operational duties
Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a robust asset:
- Seafood retail
- Grocery
- Butcher shop / meat department
- Fast-paced retail customer service
(We’re willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and great attitude.)
Requirements
- Able to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a retail environment
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
