Job Title: Security Guard - High Profile

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr

Site: Toronto

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 23:00 - 06:00

Overtime Methodology: Employment Standards Act (ESA)

Site Overview

This high-profile client site in Toronto requires a dedicated night-shift security team to maintain a protected, welcoming environment. The site features active common areas, restricted access entry points, and routine overnight monitoring to support the security of tenants, employees, and property.

What You'll Be Doing

- Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols, including parking facilities, entryways, and common areas, to identify hazards and safety risks.

- Manage access control by verifying identification, logging visitors and vendors, and restricting unauthorized entry.

- Monitor site activities using CCTV, alarm systems, and access control platforms to detect unusual or suspicious behavior.

- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations, contacting emergency services or escalation contacts when necessary.

- Provide a visible security presence to deter trespassing, theft, and property damage.

- Offer professional customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors, tenants, and staff.

- Enforce client site rules, safety standards, and operational guidelines consistently.

- Assist with emergency procedures, including site evacuations and first aid response.

- Inspect security hardware, doors, locks, gates, and lighting, reporting maintenance issues promptly.





- Carry out tasks assigned by the security leadership team and client representatives.

Must Haves

- Valid Security Guard License for the province of Ontario.

- Minimum One year of Security Experience

- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a WSIB-approved provider.

- Legal authorization to work in Canada.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.

- Ability to complete Paladin's Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification prior to onboarding (provided at no cost with a 6-month availability commitment).

Nice-to-Haves

- Previous experience in security services.

- Post-secondary education in Law Enforcement, Police Foundations, or a related field.
