This position involves conducting mobile patrols and responding to alarm activations at various commercial, residential, and industrial properties throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Officers will be responsible for attending alarm calls, inspecting properties, conducting security patrols, identifying suspicious activity, and documenting their findings. This is an independent, mobile position requiring valuable judgment, strong observation skills, and the ability to work confidently during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct mobile security patrols at assigned properties throughout the GTA.
- Respond to alarm activations and investigate the cause of alarm signals.
- Attend commercial buildings, residential properties, plazas, and other assigned locations.
- Inspect buildings, entrances, doors, windows, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters.
- Identify suspicious persons, unauthorized access, signs of forced entry, and potential security concerns.
- Conduct exterior and interior inspections where authorized.
- Utilize CCTV and surveillance systems when available.
- Communicate with dispatch and follow established alarm response procedures.
- Contact police, fire services, or emergency personnel when required.
- Complete accurate incident reports and patrol documentation.
- Remain professional and alert while working independently.

- Mandatory Requirements

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence – Mandatory.
- Must own and have reliable access to a personal vehicle. This position requires travelling between multiple locations throughout the GTA.




- Valid Ontario driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to work overnight shifts.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Comfortable working outdoors and conducting inspections in poorly lit areas.

Important – Nature of the PositionThis is an overnight security position. Officers must be comfortable working in darkness, including inspecting dimly lit parking garages, building perimeters, secluded areas, laneways, and other locations where lighting may be limited.

Applicants must not be afraid of the dark, confined or isolated areas, or conducting inspections alone during overnight hours.

Compensation & Vehicle Expenses

- Competitive hourly compensation.
- Company contribution toward fuel and vehicle maintenance expenses under a reimbursement agreement.
- Reimbursement is provided according to the agreed percentage and applicable company procedures.

Shifts & Schedule
- Overnight shifts, generally between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Shift start and end times may vary depending on operational requirements.
- Alarm response assignments throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
- Flexibility to work overnight, including weekends, is required.
