Fable seeks a Senior Software Engineer and senior individual contributor with deep backend expertise. You will design scalable services, up-to-date full-stack applications, and production AI capabilities. The work includes AWS, REST APIs, distributed systems, React, Node.js, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

Own technical solutions from customer needs through production delivery

Build backend services, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems

Develop LLM integrations, RAG, tool calling, and AI agents

Partner with Product Managers and Designers on customer solutions

Mentor engineers through reviews,

Requirements

Eight or more years of professional software development experience

Extensive backend experience building scalable production systems
