We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst, Accounting & Tax to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, audits, and working capital management, while partnering closely with local finance stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. You will work closely with the Affiliate Chief Accountant (CCA) and the Finance Efficiency Facilitator to ensure that our accounting, reporting, and period-end closing obligations are met on a monthly and annual basis.
2. You possess in-depth knowledge of balance sheet processes, enabling you to devise corrective plans to mitigate risks and reduce costs.
3. You are responsible for the working capital budget—specifically inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable—and will produce, optimize, and streamline the necessary reports.
4. You will serve as the organization's tax expert, liaising with tax authorities and consumption tax consultants.

You will participate in various tax and corporate audits, handling the preparation and validation of required financial data.
6. You are responsible for planning and conducting internal audits to verify the organization's compliance with accounting and tax regulations as well as established policies.
7. You will act as the local lead for the CashX project, implementing best practices aimed at reducing cash flow risks.

Requirements:

1. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.
2. You have 5 to 7 years of skilled accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare sector.
3. You demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and set expectations.
4. You have the ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
5. In this role, you will interact with colleagues across Canada; therefore, a competent level of English and proficiency in French are required.
