You will influence desk strategy while helping set the pace for the team.Key Responsibilities: Originate, negotiate, and execute grain purchase and sale contractsAnalyze supply, demand, basis, freight, and macroeconomic trendsMonitor positions, exposures, counterparty, and credit riskCoordinate rail, truck, and vessel logistics with operationsCoach traders and contribute to desk strategyRequirements: At least three years of grain or agricultural commodity tradingProven record building and managing a profitable bookStrong origination, negotiation, cold calling, and relationship-building skillsEnglish fluency; French or other languages are assetsMicrosoft Excel and commodity trading systems proficiencyBring grain trading expertise, commercial instincts, and disciplined risk management to GSL’s North American business.
