Take pride in creating a clean, welcoming space? We are looking for an experienced Senior Housekeeping Attendant to help keep our clubhouse and surrounding areas clean, organized and ready for members, guests and events.

About Beach Grove

Founded in 1921, Beach Grove Golf & Country Club is a family-oriented private club on the shores of Lake St. Clair in Tecumseh, Ontario, just east of Windsor. The club offers a Stanley Thompson-designed golf course, a marina, a pool, curling facilities, casual and fine dining, and spaces for special events. Open year-round, Beach Grove brings members and families together in a welcoming waterfront setting.

Pay and advantages

What you will do

· Clean clubhouse rooms, floors, windows, furniture and fixtures, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and scrubbing.

· Clean and sanitize washrooms, sinks, toilets and showers. Handle deep-cleaning situations involving bodily waste safely and thoroughly.

· Work with junior housekeeping staff to set up and rearrange tables, chairs and equipment for indoor and outdoor events.

· Receive, move, store and replenish incoming supplies, goods and equipment; order and maintain adequate housekeeping supplies.

· Keep storage areas organized and designated goods secured.

· Empty indoor and outdoor garbage, recycling receptacles and ashtrays,



and keep clubhouse areas free of litter and debris.

· Maintain entrances, patios and decks, including sweeping, hosing down, snow shovelling and salting as needed.

· Follow health and safety requirements and assist with other housekeeping duties as needed.

What you bring

· At least two years of housekeeping or janitorial experience in a commercial setting.

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

· Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, including moving stacks of chairs and setting up large event tables.

· A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.

· Availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.

· Previous customer service experience is an asset.

Schedule

· Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., including weekends.

· The primary weekly schedule is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. (Wednesday and Thursday are typical days of for this vacant shift) Additional hours may be required for events.

· The club operates year-round.

Transportation

You must have your own reliable vehicle to get to and from work. Public transit does not service the club at the required early-morning start times, so dependable personal transportation is essential.
