Lead labour relations investigations and collective agreement guidance as a Senior Advisor with the City of Coquitlam in versatile, hybrid Coquitlam work.Reporting to the Manager, Labour Relations and HR Strategy, you will advise managers and Human Resources colleagues on employee relations, discipline, performance management and workplace conflict. You will also support disability management, including medical leaves, accommodation and return-to-work planning, while developing broader expertise.Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and administer collective agreements for managers and HR colleaguesConduct interviews, assess information and prepare investigation recommendationsSupport grievances, dispute resolution, meetings and recommended responsesMaintain constructive relationships with unions,



leaders and HR colleaguesSupport medical leave, accommodation and return-to-work processesRequirements:

Degree in labour relations, human resources or related disciplineApproximately five years of progressive human resources experienceSubstantial labour relations responsibility in complex unionized environmentsWorkplace investigation, analysis and recommendation-writing experienceKnowledge of labour, employment and human rights legislationApply sound judgment, investigation expertise and collective agreement knowledge while expanding disability management practice at Coquitlam.
