Combine calibration and inspection expertise in Quality Control at Collins Aerospace’s Oakville location. Work onsite Monday through Friday on a weekday day shift.
This Calibration Technician position reports to Quality Control Supervisors and maintains site meteorology equipment calibration. You will create standard work documents, support digital and physical 5S optimization, and help protect products affected by expired or out-of-tolerance calibration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create standard work documents for calibration and quality activities
- Lead events that optimize workflow in Quality Control areas
- Support digital and physical 5S optimization initiatives
- Input and retrieve inspection and configuration information
- Coordinate corrective steps when calibration is out of tolerance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-plus years of calibration experience
- Three-plus years of inspection experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP
- Ability to work different shifts and communicate effectively
Use calibration, inspection, SAP, Microsoft Office, and Lean knowledge to strengthen Quality Control at the Oakville site.
