Bring excellent work ethic to Northern Health’s Specialized Services department as a registered Occupational Therapist providing client and family-centered recovery care. Work Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.

This Occupational Therapist position serves individuals with complex mental health illnesses, substance use concerns, and co-occurring medical conditions. You will independently manage a complex caseload while working within an interdisciplinary team. The work includes assessment, service planning, evaluation, documentation, education, counseling, resource utilization, and promoting occupational therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide occupational therapy services to complex client populations
- Develop and implement outcome-oriented intervention plans




- Evaluate service effectiveness and maintain clinical records
- Act as an occupational therapy resource for designated areas
- Contribute to meetings, education, and departmental initiatives

Requirements:

- Registered Occupational Therapist credentials
- Understanding of client and family-centered recovery models
- Knowledge of secure, effective resource utilization
- Ability to provide client and family counseling
- Ability to contribute to quality management activities

Use occupational therapy assessment, counseling, and service planning skills to support recovery within Northern Health Specialized Services.
