About the Opportunity

CygniSoft Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer for a potential fully remote engagement with one of our clients.

This opportunity is currently in the early planning stages. The client is evaluating both independent consulting and contract employment arrangements, with a preference for engaging an independent consultant.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, hands-on development experience, and the ability to design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise business applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions based on business requirements.
- Build and support custom functionality, plugins, workflows, integrations, and extensions within the Dynamics 365 environment.
- Develop solutions using C#, .NET, JavaScript, Power Automate, and Microsoft Power Platform technologies, where applicable.
- Integrate Dynamics 365 with external applications using REST APIs, Azure services, and other integration technologies.
- Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize application performance, and maintain solution reliability.




- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, testing, deployment, and release management.
- Follow Microsoft development standards and application lifecycle management (ALM) practices.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations on solution architecture, development approaches, and system improvements.
- Work independently in a fully remote workplace while maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, preferably including substantial Microsoft Dynamics 365 development.
- Strong hands-on experience developing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and relevant Microsoft development technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, where applicable.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs and enterprise application integrations.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), technical documentation, and coding standards.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver solutions independently.
- Excellent analytical,



problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Previous experience working directly with clients or enterprise stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 technical certifications.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, or other Azure integration services.
- Experience with enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 implementations or migrations.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Prior independent consulting experience, including managing deliverables and communicating directly with client stakeholders.

Engagement Details

Work Arrangement: 100% Remote

Preferred Engagement Model: Independent Consultant

Indicative Consulting Rate: $85–$95/hour, subject to final client approval, relevant experience, and engagement terms.

Alternative Engagement Model: Contract employment may also be considered. Compensation and employment terms would be determined separately.

Start Date: To Be Determined

Project Duration: 6-8 months with a chance of extension.

Important: This is an anticipated opportunity currently under discussion with the client. The engagement structure, scope, duration, and final compensation have not yet been confirmed.
