Support adult mental health and psychosocial care as a Clinical Specialist RSW/MSW Social Worker with Lifemark Health Group in Elmsdale.

This full time permanent position offers virtual, hybrid, and on-site arrangements at Lifemark Physiotherapy Elmsdale. You will provide counselling for clients referred by employers, insurers, private sources, and other organizations. The work addresses psychosocial concerns connected with injury, trauma, and mental illness, using evidence-based psychotherapy and a bio-psycho-social approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Address psychosocial problems related to injury and trauma
- Support clients experiencing mental illness and related distress
- Develop goal-focused approaches supporting social functioning




- Discuss treatment progress and barriers with interdisciplinary teams
- Communicate treatment information effectively to stakeholders

Requirements:

- MSW Clinical Specialist registration with Nova Scotia College of Social Workers
- Master’s degree in a counselling-related field
- Clinical knowledge of grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment
- Knowledge of chronic pain and concussive syndrome is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills, judgement, and integrity
