Shape insurance products at CGIC through product design, underwriting rules, and risk selection. This regular full time position uses a hybrid work model.

The Senior Product Specialist provides national product expertise across regulatory, legislative, and industry environments. You will lead product development, maintain portfolio rules, and advise programs, initiatives, manufacturing projects, and implementations. The position also covers research, problem solving, risk mitigation, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain products across insurance portfolios
- Create underwriting and risk selection rules
- Provide expertise to programs, initiatives, and implementations
- Research solutions, assess feasibility, and identify risks




- Prioritize product needs against development using client knowledge

Requirements:

- Five or more years in underwriting, claims, or insurance analytics
- Secondary diploma or related degree
- CIP or FCIP designation completed or in progress
- Knowledge of policy materials, Insurance Acts, and provincial requirements
- Ability to derive solutions from complex variables
