Shape raw material sourcing at Nexans through supplier evaluation, cable standards expertise, and technical ownership across North American sites.

As a Materials & Qualification Specialist, you will support the Engineering team while managing technical aspects of raw material sourcing. You will investigate suppliers, coordinate trials, maintain specifications, and identify material or process opportunities. The position also supports certifications and customer specification reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, investigate, trial, and approve raw material suppliers
- Promote raw material standardization between North American sites
- Conduct supplier inspections and ongoing audits
- Maintain North American raw material specifications
- Suggest materials and processes improving competitiveness

Requirements:

- Minimum five years in cable design or manufacturing
- Excellent knowledge of CSA and UL power cable standards
- University or college engineering degree
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Regular global travel capability
