Handle large loss property claims for Crawford Global Technical Services, combining expert report analysis and settlement negotiation in Alberta’s hybrid market.

This General Claims Adjuster supports the Technical Services Team across complex accounts and major claim events. You will investigate commercial and personal lines property losses, evaluate damages, and maintain production levels and customer relationships. The position also requires solid report writing, commercial policy interpretation, and recommendations to the market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Investigate damages arising from major claim events
- Analyze expert reports and direct independent experts
- Negotiate settlements and maintain customer relationships




- Manage litigation disposition plans and budgets
- Record activities and transactions in required systems

Requirements:

- Five or more years of functional claims handling experience
- Large loss, commercial claims, and liability experience
- Construction, property, or casualty experience preferred
- Strong report writing and customer service skills
- Willingness to work with insurance community stakeholders
