Help families find appropriate support through Maligaksat as a Services Navigator with Inuvialuit Regional Corporation. Work full time in Inuvik.

This term position reports to the Training and Quality Assurance Specialist and provides an important first contact for families, children, and youth. You will understand Maligaksat, connect people with IRC and external resources, and use knowledge of ICFI and Health and Wellness programming. The term runs to March 31, 2030, with possible extension dependent on funding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide initial contact for people seeking Maligaksat support
- Assess received information to identify appropriate resources
- Connect families to internal IRC programming and services




- Connect families to suitable external community resources
- Support team documentation and other tasks when required

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- At least three years in caring or human services work
- At least five years of related lived experience
- Related post-secondary education is preferred
- Successful Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks required
