Oversee staffing, enrollment, compliance, and service quality across multiple childcare sites with Umbrella Family in the Greater Hamilton Area. Lead operational improvement.

The Program Manager (RECE) provides operational, pedagogical, and people leadership within Umbrella Family’s multi-site licensed childcare organization. Reporting to the Director of Childcare Programs, this leader supports day-to-day operations, financial accountability, organizational planning, and change initiatives. The position requires operational acumen, robust decision-making, and knowledge of CCEYA requirements, responsive pedagogy, and relationship-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct daily operations across multiple child care programs
- Manage staffing, scheduling, enrollment, occupancy, and compliance




- Analyze needs and implement organizational effectiveness strategies
- Lead teams through growth and change initiatives
- Ensure health, safety, licensing, and policy compliance

Requirements:

- Registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing
- Ten years working in childcare centres
- Five years of people management experience
- Business acumen in budgeting, planning, and problem-solving
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, screening, and First Aid/CPR
