Own Blacksmith Agency’s performance marketing department remotely from the USA, Canada, or South Africa. Lead PPC and SEO specialists with clear standards.

This management seat carries department delivery, not senior individual contributor campaign execution. You oversee specialist quality, development, reviews, account escalations, and client-facing accountability across multifamily, B2B, and technical accounts. Your decisions shape channel strategy, budget allocation, credible sales commitments, and the department’s hiring plan.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage PPC and SEO specialists and their career development
- Write standards for audits, checks, and account reporting
- Own honest reporting and client results across the function
- Handle underperforming account escalations with clients

- Plan hiring and interview first-round department candidates

Requirements:

- Seven or more years spanning paid media and SEO
- Experience deciding when direct reports are not working out
- Working depth across Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Meta, Microsoft Ads
- Ability to present a diagnosis-driven account turnaround
- Comfort owning client calls during account underperformance

Bring department management, performance standards, client ownership, and cross-channel judgment to Blacksmith Agency’s remote leadership seat.
