Support OT cybersecurity and Industrial Control Systems as a Field Operational Technology Technician serving Grande Prairie and surrounding areas. Work independently at remote industrial locations.

This experienced technician helps maintain, troubleshoot, and deploy infrastructure supporting operational reliability, safety, and productivity. The position covers SCADA, PLCs, industrial servers, operator workstations, industrial networks, telecommunications, and supporting IT infrastructure. You will assist with OT cybersecurity initiatives, network segmentation, controlled changes, and system deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with OT cybersecurity initiatives and network-segmentation projects
- Support system upgrades, patching, migrations, and deployments
- Troubleshoot OT hardware, software, and connectivity problems




- Participate in incident reviews and root-cause analysis activities
- Follow site-access requirements, orientations, and safe-work procedures

Requirements:

- Minimum five-plus years supporting industrial technology environments
- Demonstrated experience with SCADA and industrial control systems
- Familiarity with OT cybersecurity principles and controlled change practices
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and organizational skills
- ISA/IEC 62443 cybersecurity training preferred
