This position supports electrical and instrumentation services for oil and gas projects. Responsibilities include hazardous-area work, preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational support. You will coordinate with operators, instrumentation technicians, millwrights, engineers, and contractors while helping reduce equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with equipment used around flammable gases or vapours
- Repair motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, and heat tracing
- Respond to breakdowns and support planned shutdowns




- Interpret schematics and mark up changed installation drawings
- Coordinate work with operators, technicians, engineers, and contractors

Requirements:

- Journeyman electrician certificate
- Fluent English and Canadian Electrical Code knowledge
- Physical ability to climb, lift, and work at heights
- Ability to handle outdoor site conditions
- Willingness to work outside Grande Prairie as needed
