Support insurance claims on some of Canada’s largest construction projects through detailed analysis, documentation review, and strategic recommendations. Work with Pomerleau’s teams and external partners in a hybrid corporate setting.

As an Insurance and Surety team resource, you will collaborate with insurers, adjusters, lawyers, brokers, and business units. You will help reduce total cost of risk while supporting the company’s financial performance. Depending on experience, the scope may include strategic claims, complex negotiations, mentoring, and claims practice development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain and review contracts, policies, reports, and project documents
- Determine applicable coverage, liability, and quantified damages
- Provide strategic claims recommendations to project teams




- Maintain solid internal and external partner relationships
- Manage strategic claims or mentor colleagues when assigned

Requirements:

- Three to ten years in insurance, claims, or risk management
- Experience with loss adjusting or brokerage is valuable
- Knowledge of construction is a major asset
- Excellent bilingual French and English communication skills
- Autonomy, sound judgment, and deadline management ability
