Design scalable data platforms with advanced SQL and Python as a Senior Data Engineer supporting analytics, AI-enabled experiences, and decision-making. Own production pipelines end-to-end.

This senior role owns significant data platform components, including dbt transformations, data models, semantic layers, quality, and observability. You will establish engineering standards and deliver trusted data products. The work spans dimensional modelling, metadata, governed access, and AI-assisted engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design scalable pipelines using dbt and medallion architecture
- Lead dimensional modelling and semantic layer development
- Build transformations, automation, and tooling with SQL and Python
- Implement quality testing, monitoring, alerting,



and observability
- Mentor engineers and analysts while guiding technical decisions

Requirements:

- Degree in Data Engineering or post-secondary education
- Minimum five years of progressive data engineering experience
- Expert SQL and solid Python proficiency
- Deep hands-on dbt experience, including testing and documentation
- Experience with cloud warehouses and software engineering practices
