The Director, Change Enablement & Business Readiness will lead the people and business-readiness dimensions of significant transformation initiatives. The role partners with business and functional leaders to assess impacts and prepare teams to adopt and sustain changes to processes, technology, roles and ways of working.

Responsibilities

- Develop change and business-readiness strategies aligned with transformation plans, milestones and intended outcomes.
- Assess impacts to people, processes, roles and capabilities; identify readiness, adoption and organizational risks.
- Set readiness criteria and advise leaders on gaps, risks and interventions needed for implementation.
- Partner with Operations, Technology, Product, Risk and transformation teams to translate future-state designs into executable business changes.
- Support implementation and stabilization, with a focus on adoption and sustainable outcomes.
- Advise leaders on change vision, decisions, accountabilities and actions; develop targeted stakeholder, communications, learning and engagement approaches.
- Define and monitor readiness and adoption measures, using feedback and evidence to guide interventions.




- Build change capability through coaching, facilitation, tools and reusable practices.

Qualifications

- Significant experience in change management, business readiness, continuous improvement or transformation delivery in complex organizations.
- Experience translating process, technology or operating-model transformation into practical impacts, readiness plans and adoption outcomes.
- Knowledge of impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, communications, learning and adoption.
- Strong process-improvement and analytical capabilities, including experience with current-state assessment, future-state design and implementation.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and facilitate complex decisions.
- Experience with Lean, process re-engineering, automation or AI-enabled transformation is an asset; financial services, insurance or regulated-environment experience is also an asset.

Work arrangement and compensation

Hybrid. The posting lists Waterloo, Ontario, and references Toronto, Ontario as the salary location. Salary range: $145,130–$195,130 CAD per year, with potential incentive compensation.
