Responsibilities

- Use programming and data technologies to improve credit risk processes, build dashboards and reports, and support digital transformation.
- Work with Credit Analysis and Asset Restructuring & Recovery Management teams on risk metrics, governance tasks, coordination and process optimization.
- Produce recurring controls and reports, including legal lending limit controls, large regulatory exposures and credit trigger back-testing.
- Coordinate committees and meetings across Front Office, Middle Office and Risk teams.
- Support responses to audit and regulatory requests and contribute to remediation actions.
- Coordinate cross-functional credit risk, transversal and regulatory projects with stakeholders in North America, Europe and Asia.

Requirements

- Master's degree in data science from a business or engineering school or university.




- Programming skills, including Python, and experience presenting results with Power BI; knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Solid written and spoken English.
- Credit risk experience is appreciated; project management or data science analytical experience is an asset.
- Good analytical, communication and presentation skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.

The assignment is in Montreal and is expected to begin as soon as possible. Plan for approximately three months between application and assignment start. VIE eligibility criteria apply, including age and nationality requirements. A validated M2 diploma document is required before the assignment begins.
