As Senior Staff Data Platform Engineer, you will anchor technical strategy while building production-grade capabilities hands-on. You will design governed systems spanning ingestion, medallion layers, cataloging, transformation, and reporting. The role combines data engineering leadership, reusable platform architecture, and collaboration with domain teams, product managers, architects, and developers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead technical direction across streaming, batch, and transformation pipelines
- Design AWS lakehouse capabilities using S3, Iceberg, Glue, and Lake Formation
- Make pipelines configuration and metadata driven for domain engineering teams




- Define governed data product and semantic layer contracts
- Build AI-assisted developer tooling with quality enforced in CI

Requirements:
- Eight-plus years developing scalable software and data platforms
- Two-plus years leading scalable platform or modernization initiatives
- Deep hands-on streaming and batch data engineering experience
- Experience with Kafka, Flink, Debezium, dbt, and DataHub
- AWS cloud-native infrastructure, IaC, DevSecOps, and CI/CD proficiency
