Produce coordinated BIM documentation with AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, or Revit at Sightline Architecture + Design in Nova Scotia. This is a full time, permanent position.

Reporting to the Senior Architect, the Architectural Technician supports residential and commercial projects from schematic design through construction administration. You will prepare drawings, construction documents, specifications, and permit or tender submissions. The work includes code review, consultant coordination, site reviews, and BIM management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare plans, sections, elevations, and details using BIM software
- Develop construction documents and specifications for submissions
- Coordinate drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil consultants
- Maintain drawing standards, file organization,



and BIM model integrity
- Manage BIM libraries, templates, and administrative program aspects

Requirements:

- Architectural Technology diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, or comparable software
- Working knowledge of Canadian and applicable provincial building codes
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
