This Specialist Engineer role focuses on CANDU nuclear design and analysis within AtkinsRéalis. You will complete engineering calculations, prepare technical reports, review design documentation, and coordinate multidisciplinary work. The position also includes technical support, quality assurance compliance, and mentoring junior and intermediate analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze CANDU reactor components, systems, structures, and mechanical equipment
- Calculate designs for nuclear pressure boundary components
- Prepare and review formal engineering reports and calculations
- Coordinate clients, suppliers, stakeholders, and design disciplines




- Mentor junior and intermediate analysts while reporting engineering progress

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Skilled Engineer registration in Ontario
- At least eight years designing complex mechanical systems or equipment
- Classical stress calculation and ANSYS/APDL finite element analysis experience
- Python or MATLAB programming and ASME Section III familiarity
