Operate light and heavy equipment in Fort St. John, supporting municipal construction, maintenance, and utility work under supervision.

As an Equipment Operator III, you will perform semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks across municipal roads, grounds, and utility systems. The regular full-time position includes equipment operation, preventative maintenance, traffic control, and regulatory signage support. You may also provide assigned leadhand direction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate diverse light and heavy equipment with attachments
- Inspect, clean, and perform operator-level equipment maintenance
- Report equipment defects and repair needs to supervisors
- Coordinate traffic control and install regulatory signage
- Assist with assigned labourer or utility maintenance duties

Requirements:

- Grade 12, GED, or equivalent education or experience
- Valid Class 3 BC licence with Air Brake Endorsement

- Perform heavy manual work in varying weather conditions
