Lead canoe-based leadership development at YMCA Camp Pine Crest in Torrance, Ontario, using coaching and outdoor education skills. This seasonal overnight contract is part-time.

The Senior Leadership Trainer Flat Water facilitates programs that build self-awareness, resilience, confidence, and practical skills. You will mentor participants in camp and flat-water canoe trip environments. The work includes supervision, safety, high-quality programming, and support for future camp staff opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan activities, learning sessions, and participant debriefs
- Coach participants through constructive reflection and improvement
- Deliver programming in office and during canoe trips
- Supervise participants and maintain group safety




- Facilitate assignments supporting high school credit requirements

Requirements:

- Minimum three years working with youth in leadership development
- Experience leading canoe trips and extensive canoe-tripping knowledge
- Required First Aid, CPR, and listed water certifications
- Ability to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Minimum age of 20 by contract start
