Operate critical refinery equipment at Suncor’s Syncrude Mildred Lake site using troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills. Work 12-hour shifts in Fort McMurray.

This Process Operator role supports the Primary Upgrader within an experienced operating crew. You will operate and monitor equipment, adjust process variables, and maintain secure, environmentally sound production. The position requires established operating practices, equipment troubleshooting, and attention to product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate refinery equipment according to established operating practices
- Monitor equipment and operating conditions for deviations
- Adjust equipment and process variables for safe production
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot process equipment
- Work on a qualified post within an operating unit

Requirements:

- Two years of refinery experience
- 4th Class Power Engineering certificate required
- 3rd or 2nd Class certificate preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift, climb, and work in confined spaces
