Our client is a public accounting firm looking for a senior level individual to join its growing team in Okotoks. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys working closely with owner-managed businesses and is looking for exposure to review engagements, compilations, corporate tax, and client advisory services. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client files, delivering high-quality engagement work, mentoring junior team members, and building long-term client relationships within a collaborative and family-oriented firm environment.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

- Prepare and complete ASPE review engagements for a diverse portfolio of private company clients
- Prepare compilation engagements (NTRs) and related working papers with accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns and supporting schedules while ensuring compliance with applicable legislation
- Compile and analyze financial information, prepare journal entries,



and maintain accurate supporting documentation
- Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted point of contact for accounting and tax-related inquiries
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members while fostering a collaborative team setting

Your strengths include:

- CPA designation or active pursuit of the CPA designation is preferred
- Progressive public practice accounting experience at the Senior Accountant, Assistant Manager, or Manager level
- Strong experience preparing and managing ASPE review engagements independently
- Solid compilation engagement (NTR) experience and understanding of tax and private company reporting requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both clients and internal stakeholders
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional client service
